Life insurance

The backstop your family deserves

Life insurance is not really for you. It is so the people you love do not have to start over from zero. We help you pick the right option for your age, your income and what you are working toward.

What would your family do next month?

If your income disappeared today, how long could the household hold? Rent or mortgage, groceries, the kids’ school, the debts.

The mortgage or the rent

The biggest bill in the house does not pause when a paycheck stops.

Your kids’ education

Their future should not hinge on what happens to you.

Outstanding debts

Loans and cards do not vanish. They get inherited.

Everyday life

Food, utilities and getting around during the months in between.

Life insurance turns that dread into a plan. And it costs less than most people assume.

Two routes, one goal

Term Life Insurance

The cheapest way to get a large amount of protection. You pick a term — 10, 20 or 30 years — and your family is covered for that stretch.

  • The years you have left on the mortgage
  • Raising and schooling your kids
  • A large loan or a business debt
  • The years your income holds the household up

Best for: young families, anyone with a mortgage, and anyone who needs the most coverage for the smallest premium.

Planes IUL

Lifelong protection plus cash value that grows tied to a market index, with a floor that keeps you from losing money when the market drops.

  • As a supplement to a retirement plan
  • For their kids’ college
  • As a long-term emergency fund
  • To leave something behind for their beneficiaries

Best for: people whose basics are already covered and who want their money working while it protects their family.

Cash value growth depends on index performance, policy charges and the specific terms of the contract. Returns are not guaranteed. Your advisor will walk you through the illustrations in detail before you decide anything.

What almost nobody explains

Benefits you can use while living

Some policies let you draw on part of the benefit while you are still alive, if you face a serious illness, a critical diagnosis or a terminal condition.

When a serious health problem hits, the first thing that stops is the income. The bills do not stop with it. This benefit keeps the floor under your family while you focus on getting better.

Common questions

What age should I buy at?

The younger and healthier you are, the lower the premium — and that premium is locked in. Waiting always costs more.

Do I need a medical exam?

Depends on the amount and the plan. There are simplified-issue options with no exam at all.

Can I get it without a green card?

Several carriers accept other forms of ID. Ask us about your particular situation.

Who receives the money?

Whoever you name as beneficiaries. The payout is generally free of federal income tax.
